Serving up great coffee and an ever-changing fusion of Middle Eastern and European foods, restaurateurs Trudy Beckwith and Max Wagner are proud to be of service.
Originally opened in 2004 Lady Hawke Cafe, B&B had quickly become a priority for those seeking the culinary delights of this style of food.
In 2006, Trudy and Max became the proud owners and continuing the tradition set, offered excellence in food, winning “Best Cafe in Victoria using mushrooms” the following year from approximately 1400 entries.
Both Trudy and Max share a passion for foods and have sourced many spices and other ingredients from the Middle East to give the foods the “right” flavour.
Rated highly by critics, the cafe’s menu changes regularly to take full advantage of seasonal fresh foods.
Signature dish, the ‘Mezze Platter’ is representative of this with wonderful dips and treats to eat and can be vegetarian (meats optional).
Its ever-changing flavours and foods ensure that each visit means a new sensation.

Breakfast at Lady Hawke Cafe is an all-day affair with dishes as simple as a spinach fetta muffin or cheesy toast (toasted Turkish bread and tasty cheese), eggs benedict or the delicious breakfast pizza.
The popular breakfast special (bacon, tomato, mushrooms, salad, toast, poached egg and choice of tea, coffee, hot chocolate or juice, all for only $10) is a temptation hard to ignore.
Another feature dish is the Lady Hawke Lamb Shank for a European country home-cooked meal taste.
The barramundi is also very special. Max spent more than six months sourcing suppliers of ocean caught wild barramundi to get the best available flavour.
At Lady Hawke Cafe, B&B is available to function groups with many birthday parties, wedding receptions and other events catered for over the years.
End-of-year break-ups and Christmas parties should be booked as early as possible as Lady Hawke Cafe is quickly booked out in December.
