Acclaimed chef Bobby Lam worked in a prestigious hotel in London as well as organising Asian cuisine for leading airline companies including Cathay Pacific and Hong Kong Air.
A stint in Melbourne’s casino was the last stop for this experienced chef before seizing the opportunity to open his own noodle outlet.
Nudo Box (his son came up with the name) first opened in Croydon in 2000 and there are now six stores in prominent locations including Rosebud, Eltham, Williamstown and Sunbury.
Upwey Nudo Box was the last to open and has been a great success, with staff always keeping in mind the company motto “simply the place for good noodles!”.
