Security brings peace of mind

Alarm systems are extremely affordable.Alarm systems are extremely affordable.

TRIGGER Security’s Sharon Versteege is bringing a woman’s touch to security.
Having spent 10 years in the male-dominated industry, Sharon offers customers expert knowledge and advice.
She specialises in installing, servicing and monitoring domestic, commercial and industrial alarm systems, access control and CCTV.
She prides herself on quality work and attention to detail.
Sharon noted the current economic climate was likely to increase the number of break-ins and thefts, highlighting the value of security systems.
“We’ve seen in the past that burglaries go up when things get tight,” she said.
Sharon said an alarm system was not as expensive as people might think.
“Prices have gone down. The average alarm system is $1200 to $1300,” she said.
“It’s extremely affordable.”
Sharon encouraged home owners and businesses to install an alarm system before the Easter holidays.
She said sheds were often a neglected and vulnerable target for thieves.
A landscaper by trade, Sharon fell into the security trade after returning from a backpacking trip.
“I just thought ‘I need a change of trade’,” she said.
She studied at night school and set up her own business nine years ago.
Sharon keeps it simple with no middle-man mark up or chasing multiple tradespeople.
“They’ll be dealing with one person. It’s just me,” she said.
“And the price you get given is what the job will cost.”
Sharon can be contacted by calling 0409 797 550, 5967 4509 after hours, or sending an email to triggersecurity@bigpond.com.
