THE Mail would like to clarify comments made in its front page story last week, ‘Let there be lights’.
Shire spokeswoman Tracey Varley was reported as saying the delay in switching on pedestrian crossing lights in Monbulk’s Main Street had been caused by confusion over whose responsibility it was to switch the lights on – VicRoads or the shire.
The comments were wrongly attributed to Ms Varley by a journalist.
