Seafood treat at Lobster Cove

LOBSTER Cove in Wantirna is the original home of the ultimate seafood experience and the perfect dining out venue for any occasion.

The restaurant was established more than 20 years ago and was taken over three years ago by Mr Krios who is known as the King of Seafood.
“Lobster Cove is the original and the best seafood restaurant in Melbourne.
“It offers a wonderful dining experience for seafood lovers and is the ideal way to indulge in fresh fish,” Mr Krios said.
“We offer an extensive menu at very reasonable prices and our chefs have the necessary expertise when it comes to seafood dishes,” he said.
“We know how to treat the seafood and make sure it is cooked to perfection.”
Lobster Cove’s entree menu features a range of tantalising oyster dishes available in half or full dozen serves including oysters natural served with lemon and cocktail sauce and perennial favourite oysters Kilpatrick with bacon and Worcestershire sauce.
Other entree highlights include the seafood Caesar salad, scallop Parisienne, Tasmanian smoked salmon and an Oriental beef salad.
The main course menu features an impressive array of Australian seafood including barramundi, a medley of local seafood made up of mussels, prawns, scallops and fish and a dish of garlic prawns.
Diners can also choose half or whole crayfish with a variety of sauces and salads and a selection of seafood platters.
The Platter a la Cove, for two people, includes hot and cold seafood including fish, prawns, calamari, oysters, mussels, Moreton Bay bugs and crayfish.
Another stand out dish is the Lobster Cove’s beef and reef which combines tenderloin of beef grilled with seared prawns and scallops, accompanied by bearnaise sauce, roasted potatoes and vegetables.
The restaurant also caters for the sweet tooth with a range of desserts.
Lobster Cove, which has a fully licensed bar and allows BYO wine is located at Shop 31, The Mall, Mountain Highway, Wantirna.
