AFTER being promised moisture from above by the weather pundits, Emerald Golf Club was treated to a sparkling day and fabulous course conditions. Graeme Lawler tore the course apart to chase his 28 handicap home for a whopping 48 points to win overall and to street the other floggers in C Grade.
Mike Litchfield made a welcome return and won A Grade with 37 points with the assistance of his 10 handicap. Stuart Courtney continued his consistent form to win B Grade off 16 to card 42 points. Ricky Causer played a blinder to finish with 39 points while a gaggle of golfers, including Leigh Morison, Rod Ward, Edin Selimovic and Brett Isherwood all carded 37 points. Nearest the pins were hogged by Causer on the 12th and 17th and Mike Litchfield the 11th and the pro pin on the 18th. Next week we play for the final Monthly Medal of the year, which will give all a chance to practise their shot selections for the Pro Am on the following week.
