Fun day out at fair

A DAY of fun and laughter is promised at Monbulk Primary School’s full of fun fair on Sunday.
The fair will be held at the school on the corner of Main Street and David Hill Road Monbulk from 10.30am to 4pm.
Children will be entertained for hours with amusement rides, including a giant slide and jumping castle, climbing wall, a space ball, and a mini golf course.
Those interested in a challenge will face off in a mini golf holeinone competition, with the first person to get a holeinone receiving a $250 cash prize.
Students’ artwork will be on display in the art show.
Those looking for that perfect bargain can hunt through the trash and treasure trove of preloved books and plants stalls.
Grade six students will have a mystery bottle stall, which will have jars and bottles full of items from jelly beans and chocolates to stuffed toys and a family pass to Puffing Billy.
The jars are wrapped in coloured paper and a lucky customer chooses a jar for $2 to find out its contents.
To keep hunger cravings at bay a variety of food will be on offer from gourmet foccacias to delicious Devonshire Teas.
School principal, Ray Yates said the whole school was excited about the fair and was looking forward to a great family day.
