The spice is right

Indian and Tandoori cuisine at its finest is created in the pristine kitchens of Saffron Cottage in Tecoma by a team of chefs intent on achieving excellence in quality and taste.
Various signature dishes have been created for the many loyal patrons who enjoy the food, wine and delightful ambience of Saffron Cottage.
In the warmer months, the new alfresco dining and bar area is open for drinks or dessert, and coffee or can be booked for private functions. The restaurant is also fully air-conditioned.
When the weather starts to chill, the warm and inviting atmosphere at Saffron Cottage is enhanced by two open fireplaces and fantastic views.
Patrons can sit back, relax and enjoy the excellent cuisine, complemented by a great wine list featuring many boutique wines and an intriguing selection of cocktails.
Saffron Cottage is the second restaurant from Nikky Salgadoe and Shabana Iqbal and has been open for nearly three years.
These experienced restaurateurs had Miraaj in Boronia for eight years before expanding to Tecoma and have been featured in a leading Melbourne daily newspaper in the best Indian Restaurants in Melbourne category.
Saffron Cottage is fully licensed and offers 15 per cent discount on all takeaways and 20 per cent discount on all wines to take home.
Located at 1531 Burwood Highway, Tecoma, Saffron Cottage is open seven nights a week from 5.30pm til late. Phone 9754 8388.
