School cancels hills opera fundraiser

OLINDA Primary School has cancelled its Opera in the Hills fundraiser because of low ticket sales.
Principal Borg Kiene said if the night went ahead as planned it would run at a loss rather than raising funds for the school.
The Opera in the Hills fundraiser was to be held on Thursday, 27 July at the York on Lilydale Tavern in Mt Evelyn.
Mr Kiene said it was disappointing to have to cancel the night. Anyone with any questions about the cancellation should call the school on 9751 1181.
