HILLS people can enjoy a slice of Canadian country-pop music when award-winning due Madviolet comes to town.
The Selby Folk Club has scored a coupe in snatching up the duo for its club night on Friday, 3 March.
The folk club meets on the first Friday of every month at the Selby Community House in Charles Street, Selby.
Madviolet was recently featured on Andrew Ford’s Radio National’s Music Show and will also perform at Brunswick and Port Fairy Music Festivals while in Australia.
The duo comprises Brenley MacEachern and Lisa MacIsaac who mix the smooth sounds of folk music with layers of alternative country-pop.
Young award winning acoustic duo Alanna and Alicia Egan, twin sisters from central Victoria who have their own unique blend of jazz, blues and folk harmonies, will support Madviolet.
This is a night not to be missed, so go down to the Selby Community House and enjoy a night of non-stop entertainment.
Doors open at 7.30pm and tickets cost $10.
