Green light for barefoot bowls

BAREFOOT Bowls returns to the hills this summer as Monbulk Bowling Club hosts family friendly Sundays on the Green.
Parents and kids alike are invited to feel the grass between their toes in an afternoon of bowls, music, food and festivity.
Children over the age of 10 are welcome to try their hand on the greens, with experienced bowlers available to lend some advice.
There will also be live music and entertainment throughout the afternoon so families are encouraged to bring a blanket along and stay for a leisurely day in the sun.
With the bistro in full swing, patrons can choose to dine in, grab a bite from the snack menu or take advantage of the best bar prices in town.
Sundays on the Green will begin on 21 October and continue throughout the summer.
