Love letters straight from the heart

GEMCO Players have generously donated their talents for Fernlea House’s fundraising dinner to be held at Valentino’s Restaurant later this month.
The group will perform Love Letters, which is a play of laughter, tears, and relationships made and broken.
Love Letters follows the penmanship of two characters, and a lifetime of letter writing, is celebrated as the audience is treated to excerpts of the correspondence between the characters who first met in primary school.
Fifty years of letters, laughter, and tears that are revealed in the play, which allows the audience to listen to the written word and marvel at the power of this dying art that is the letter penned by those who love the craft of language.
Gourmet buffet finger food will be available at the interval of the play, along with a glass of wine, beer or orange juice.
The play will be held on Monday, 24 July, at Valentino’s Restaurant, 110 Canterbury Road, Heathmont, at 7.30pm, and costs $30 per head.
