A MONBULK family has expressed its gratitude towards garden nursery Chris and Marie’s Plant Farm after it donated and planted an ornamental maple tree to replace the one stolen from the family’s front garden.
This comes after Pauline Posch and her family sent out a warning to local residents after their tree was stolen from their front yard.
Ms Posch said after the incident was reported in The Mail on Tuesday, 20 December, she received a phone call from the nursery.
She said proprietor Chris Lucas even planted the tree in the same spot the old one was stolen from.
“We would just like to thank Chris and Marie for this generous gift,” she said.
