THE Victorian Electoral Commission (VEC) is inviting the people of Knox to submit their views on the city’s electoral structure.
The VEC has begun its electoral representation review of Knox City Council and is calling for public support throughout the process.
“Anyone interested in the review should attend the public information session on Wednesday, 7 March,” said VEC commissioner Steve Tully.
The meeting will be held in the functions rooms of Knox Civic Centre, beginning at 7.30pm.
Individuals or groups can also make a written submission to the VEC before the preliminary deadline of Monday, 19 March.
Submissions need not be elaborate documents, a simple letter is suitable as long as it deals with matters covered by the review.
A guide to submissions is available on the VEC website.
