TALENTED young people will step up and sing out at this year’s Knox Young Achievers’ Concert.
The concert will take place at the Knox Community Arts Centre in Bayswater on Thursday, 1 December.
Former Knox mayor Jenny Moore said it would be an entertaining and inexpensive evening, with tickets costing $10 for adults and $8 concession.
“The annual Knox Young Achievers’ Concert is a great opportunity for primary, secondary or tertiary level young people looking for performance opportunities to present to a live audience without the pressure of competitions,” Cr Moore said.
Musicians, singers, poets and comedians are all encouraged to register to perform and to support their fellow performers.
“This performance opportunity is a good addition to every prospective entertainer’s CV. It’s a great night and an important evening in the Knox arts calendar,” Cr Moore said.
