Billy breakin targets storage

BELGRAVE police reported a break and enter into Puffing Billy’s train storage facility in Menzies Creek last Thursday, 21 July.
Police said the incident occurred at 1.30am when an alarm was activated and officers were sent to investigate.
Police said nothing was stolen, however it appeared the offenders were attempting to break into a kiosk.
Police are still on the hunt for the raiders.

Bag stolen

KNOX police have charged two Ferntree Gully men with theft after a handbag was reported stolen from Knox City Shopping Centre on 23 July at 1pm.
The men have been bailed to appear before the Ringwood Magistrates’ Court on 15 August.
Knox police praised the efforts of security staff who assisted in the apprehension.
