MONBULK Secondary College students are putting the final touches on their decorated light globes which are to be sold at local markets.
The year eight students are participating in the Young Achievement Australian program (YAA) which offers secondary students the opportunity to be involved in a business enterprise.
Teacher Kerry Bennetto said as part of the program the students run a company and hopefully turn a profit.
She said this year the class has decided to produce decorated light globes.
Ms Bennetto said students take on a number of roles from department manager, and general manager to production manager.
The project is now in the production phase as the students get ready to sell the globes through direct orders through family, friends and the college and at local markets.
Anyone wishing to order some of the decorated light globes can contact Ms Bennetto on 9756 6208.
