FRESHLY prepared gourmet meals from all day breakfast through to afternoon teas are attracting many patrons to the Black Kettle Tearooms, the newest tearooms to open in the Dandenongs.
And don’t forget the beautiful fresh baked scones, Devonshire Teas, cakes and wicked muffins which are prepared daily.
For lunch there is a choice of focaccias, gourmet salads, Caesar salads, hamburgers, risotto, pasta, soup and much more.
Antipasto platters and dip platters are perfect for a light lunch and for the kids and kids at heart, there are scrumptious nachos and sweet treats galore.
Order freshly squeezed juices, available on request, or choose a latte, espresso, macchiato, affrogato, cappuccino or mocha from the sensational coffee at Black Kettle Tearooms.
Alternatively, perhaps indulge in a hot chocolate, white or dark, treat the senses to a spiced chai latte or something appealing from the great selection of teas, milkshakes and iced coffees.
Con and Irene Vlahos are the friendly hosts at Black Kettle Tearooms.
Con and Irene ran a successful and extremely popular cafe in Maling Road, Canterbury.
Their aim is to provide a service and a place for the residents of Sassafras and surrounding towns to enjoy a refreshment or meal, as well as to serve the visitors to the region.
The premises have been fully refurbished by award winning Outback Services, and now provides the perfect setting for all ages.
On a cold day, be cosy by the fire or in the heated alfresco dining area.
On a summer’s day, sit and relax on the verandah or inside in beautiful surrounds, enjoying snacks and meals that can be grazed on for hours.
Pram and child friendly, the tearooms cater to large mothers’ groups and all ages from babies through to the elderly.
Cyclists are also welcome as there are bike racks where they can safely stow their bikes while enjoying a refreshing stop in the heart of the delightful Dandenongs.
