TRULY’S Gardening Service offers landscaping, paving and garden makeovers as well as complete garden maintenance including general clean ups for the fire season, weed spraying and removal and hedge pruning.
General property maintenance is also attended to and includes gutter cleaning, chainsaw work and lawn mowing.
New proprietor Tim Sproule started his career in horticulture as a gardener for the then City of Nunawading in 1985.
Having studied other fields of horticulture and landscape construction at Burnley and Holmesglen colleges, Tim turned his hand to town planning and served in various planning roles at a number of local councils including Whitehorse, Yarra Ranges and Mornington Peninsula.
Tim moved with his family to Emerald in 2001, later building a home in Cockatoo.
Looking for a more local hands-on business opportunity, Tim discovered that Truly’s Gardening Service, established in 1993 by Truly Welgemoed, was on the market as Truly was moving to Albury-Wodonga to start a new life.
Tim took over the business in March this year and has continued to service Truly’s long list of local clients as well as developing the business with new clients.
With more than 10 years’ experience in local government town planning Tim can also provide advice regarding possible development or use of your property such as B&B, tourist accommodation, tree removal or an additional dwelling and can assist with formulating your planning application to gain approval.
