AS THE days lengthen and the burst of spring settles to a balmy summer, Saffron Cottage in Tecoma changes with the seasons.
An enclosed bar and alfresco area with lovely views for summer nights offers the perfect place to wind down.
Enjoy drinks or dessert and coffee alfresco or book this great area for a function or party.
Special banquets can be arranged for Christmas or other functions.
In summer this popular restaurant is fully air-conditioned for your comfort.
If the weather is variable, two open fireplaces inside and the heated alfresco area provide warmth and a cosy ambience.
Indian and Tandoori cuisine at its finest is created by a team of experienced chefs intent on achieving excellence in quality and authentic taste.
A new summer menu will be introduced for the coming months.
Various signature dishes have been created for the many loyal patrons who enjoy the food, wine and delightful atmosphere of Saffron Cottage.
Experienced waiting staff who have been specially trained are on hand to assist patrons with menu or wine choices.
So patrons can sit back, relax and enjoy the excellent cuisine complemented by a great wine list featuring many boutique wines and an intriguing selection of cocktails.
“We specialise in creating our own dishes using a unique combination of tropical spices,” said co-proprietors, mother and daughter team Nikky and Shabana.
“We pride ourselves on cooking fresh a la carte and we cater to individual tastes whether mild, medium or hot in both traditional dishes and modern delicacies.
Saffron Cottage is fully licensed and offers 10 per cent discount on all takeaways and 20 per cent discount on all wines to take home.
Located at 1531 Burwood Highway, Tecoma, Saffron Cottage is open seven nights a week for dinner or during the week, patrons can enjoy an after-dinner drink in the alfresco area.
