‘TERMITES’ and/or ‘white ants’ are words that strike fear into many a householder.
Andrew from Longview Pest Management said while there were no 100 per cent guarantees on methods of preventing them from eating away your house and home, regular inspections were a way to catch any early activity, minimise damage and change things around the home to detract further infestations.
“There are no shortcuts in dealing with termite management as they invariably fail and are a waste of money,” he said.
There are many different ways to deal with every stage of infestation and Andrew’s passion for finding the correct treatment allows an open and honest approach to managing everyone’s needs.
He is meticulous in his report writing and inspection procedures and prefers to initially inspect a property to provide a thorough understanding of each situation before recommending procedures.
Longview Pest Management is a local, family owned and operated business which primarily deals in termites, but can also offer advice and treatment on spiders, wasps, rodents and other crawly pests.
Andrew is endeavouring to organise an information session in the local area which residents can attend to ask questions, gather information and generally learn a little more about the ‘termite’.
Information sessions will run for about one hour and include tea-coffee, a presentation on termites and question-answer time on termites and/or any other pest.
Dates and times will depend on feedback so call Longview Pest Management on 5968 9987 to register interest.
If there is not enough community interest in an information night in the area, or people are unable to attend a session, Andrew can visit personally to discuss individual termite management needs in the home at people’s convenience.
“Remember no one is safe from termites, especially in the beautiful Hills area,” he said.
