MONBULK drew with Warragul one all to hold on to third place in Provisional Soccer League 1SE at home on Saturday.
After going ahead early in the first half, Monbulk piled on the pressure as they tried to seal the match, but Warragul’s strong defence held them out and were rewarded with a draw after a freak goal early in the second half robbed Monbulk of the win they deserved.
Despite losing 2-1 to a strong Warragul side, the young reserves were never disgraced and continue to show exciting promise for the future.
