DEAR LORD: Danny Medica (Jesus) is surrounded by other cast members.DEAR LORD: Danny Medica (Jesus) is surrounded by other cast members.

THE smashhit Broadway production Jesus Christ Superstar is coming to town with a cast of local actors lighting up the stage.
ITT Productions is putting on the play, which will be performed at Aquinas College’s Mahon Theatre in Great Ryrie Road, Ringwood at the end of the month.
Primarily, ITT Productions has been set up by Fiona and Ian Sparrow to provide a vehicle for teenagers and young adults with a desire to perform.
This latest production of Jesus Christ Superstar has a cast of 50 with budding actors from the hills and outereastern suburbs between the ages of five and 50.
Jesus Christ Superstar is an Andrew Lloyd Webber play that tells the story of the final seven days in the life of Jesus Christ leading up to his execution.
Under the creative leadership of Tony Bird, Andrew Head, and Dee Whittington, the cast has been busy rehearsing the show, twice a week, for the last couple of months in Upwey. Fiona said the cast of this production boasts some amazing young talent, which promises to portray an energetic rendition of a theatric classic.
Jesus Christ Superstar will be performed on Thursday, 29 September and Friday, 30 September at 7.30pm.
Those who missed the first two showings can catch it on Saturday, 1 October at either 2pm or 7.30pm at the Mahon Theatre in Ringwood.
Tickets are $20 for adults, $18 for pensioners and students under 16, and $17 for groups of five or more. To make a booking call Tegrhon Ticketing on 5941 6333.
