OLINDA artist Elaine Pullum has been selected to display her work at the City of Casey art space.
The art space shows are a regular feature at the Casey civic centre and situated in the civic centre reception area.
Her work ‘Another Evolution’ will be on display until Monday 27 February.
It features thought provoking clay sculpture and poses the question of what archaeological finds might there be were man not at the top of the evolutionary tree.
Another Evolution invites consideration of animals as allies in life on this planet, rather than as simply resources, pests or pets with which we do as we will.
Mrs Pullum said the fact that the thylacine is a significant player underlines “just what we may be missing and what we may have already lost.”
