Esprit proprietor Jacqui McLean, a long time resident of the Dandenong Ranges, was thrilled when the opportunity arose to open in Belgrave.
She discovered there was a definite need in the area for a full time massage therapies clinic dedicated to professional and individual massage treatments.
“You can feel the warm, relaxed, caring nature as soon as you walk in and are greeted with the same vibe from all the staff,” she said.
“The clinic prides itself on personalised care and attention, with emphasis on the Esprit Massage Therapies motto ‘giving yourself permission to heal’.”
The variety of massage techniques available is extensive and includes health fund accredited remedial massage and Shiatsu Therapy.
Other treatment includes pregnancy massage, deep tissue, hot stone massage, lomi lomi, and lymphatic drainage.
Also available is corporate massage where the same level of professionalism and knowledge is provided within the workplace.
Commencing massage in 2001, Jacqui found a deep passion for helping people to heal.
Her studies originated with specialising in relaxation therapies then progressed to a Diploma in Remedial Massage.
This allows her treatment to include such practices as remedial, deep tissue and trigger point.
Combined with her relaxed, intuitive nature, the importance of self-management techniques and a good local referral network when required, Jacqui believes that clients are ensured of a professional, individual treatment.
Appointments are available at the clinic six days a week from Monday to Saturday, including some late nights till 8pm and Saturday 9am — 3pm.
