Moves afoot in learning to dance

Classes at Stirling Dancers focus on fun and encouragement and a nurturing approach to learning dance.Classes at Stirling Dancers focus on fun and encouragement and a nurturing approach to learning dance.

STIRLING Dancers provide classes in ballet, tap, jazz and funk in a fun and learning environment where a close one-on-one approach encourages students to strive to do their very best.
Stirling Dancers principal Melissa Stirling also encourages her students to grow at their own pace while enjoying their time with her and learning new techniques and dance moves.
The social aspect of classes — meeting new people and friends — is also a focus.
Melissa has been teacher for nine years and has danced for 21 years.
She now uses these skills to teach students the ATOD syllabus and has won many awards in dancing.
Melissa is proud of all her students and likes them to enjoy the environment they are in.
She instils her love of dance and aims to achieve high standards, taking great care in the nurturing of her students’ growth.
“I see a great difference by the end of the year, which blows me away and makes me so proud of how well they do,” she said.
Stirling Dancers holds an annual concert at the end of each year.
Boys/males/guys are encouraged to participate in an all-boys class or with the girls and ladies classes that are also offered.
Classes are held at Monbulk and Silvan.
