Damaging wind gusts with a line of showers and thunderstorms moving through central areas and Gippsland, including far eastern Melbourne.
A front moving through central and eastern parts of the state today triggers thunderstorms, moving swiftly towards the east.
Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce damaging winds in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include Traralgon, Warragul, Yarra Glen, Mt Baw Baw, Morwell and Moe.

Be aware that in fire affected areas, rainfall run-off into waterways may contain debris such as ash, soil, trees and rocks. Heavy rainfall may also increase the potential for landslides and debris across roads.
