HILLS artists can now print that perfect etching at the Emerald Art Society.
This comes after the society was granted funding to set up a workshop to produce fine art prints.
Society president John Dudley said the new workshop now has an etching press, which is used to print engravings and etchings of a professional quality.
The society has already held its first workshop for using the new press and there are plans for summer demonstrations and workshops.
Mr Dudley said the printing workshops will be included in art society’s teaching program, which includes painting, drawing, leadlighting, mosaics, untutored life drawing classes and portrait groups.
He said people interested in joining the etching workshops should register now as there are limited places available.
