Volunteer calls for a home

HILLS people are being urged to help find a Belgian teenager somewhere to stay for six months.
Justine Bouhlle from Incourt in Belgium is arriving in Melbourne on Saturday, 3 February on a volunteer exchange program and needs a place to stay.
The exchange is part of the AFS Intercultural program, which allows people from around the world to travel and participate in volunteer work.
AFS is calling for families, couples and individuals to put up their hands to host Ms Bouhlle.
AFS hosting coordinator Lana Falzon said Ms Bouhlle desperately needs a host family to welcoming her into their home. Once her accommodation is organised, AFS will be looking for a suitable volunteer placement. Ms Bouhlle, 18, describes herself as a fun-loving, and adventurous girl with a great sense of humour.
“I’m sociable, thoughtful, tidy and sporty,” she said.
“I’m also looking forward to meeting people in Australia and learning their ways of life.”
Ms Bouhlle, who hopes to become a paediatric nurse, loves working with children and by volunteering she hopes to give back to the community that welcomes her with open arms.
