Blues and rock feast lined up

A BLUES and rock feast on Thursday night will kick-start a weekend of Australia Day celebrations at the Ferntree Gully Hotel.
Jackhammer will take centre stage in the Flanagan’s room from 10pm on Thursday, 25 January.
Friday night also promises to be a great night of entertainment with blues-rock band Twisted Willy performing live from 10pm.
Patrons who want to show off their singing skills are also invited to join in a night of karaoke on Saturday, from 9pm.
If it’s a bit of rock people are looking for then they can see the Skyrokats performing live on Sunday, from 3pm.
Jimmy Barnes will return to the Ferntree Gully Hotel again this year for the hotel’s first big show of the year.
Special guest Mahalia Barnes will join Jimmy Barnes, who is one of Australia’s well-known rockers, when he takes centre stage on Saturday, 17 February.
