Seville juniors prove too strong

WITH the arrival of some welcome rain, Monbulk Junior Football Club had its first taste of wet and slippery conditions for the third round of games at the weekend. Some exciting footy, especially in the U16s match with the crowd right behind the boys, but unfortunately Seville proved too strong on the day.

Seville 16.7.103 d Monbulk 3.3.21.
TAKING on Seville last Sunday, the Blues got off to a great start and were leading nine goals to one by half time.
Monbulk’s play and attack on the ball was much better in the second half, getting first to the ball and putting more pressure on Seville’s forward line.
Best: S. Shankly, R. Soussa, S. Gardiner, J. Rutherford, J. Jones.
