HILLS green thumbs and home decorators should not miss the 7th annual Baw Baw Garden Expo and Home Show this weekend.
The expo proudly sponsored by the Drouin Lions Club will have something for everyone with more than 100 beautiful garden displays and demonstrations.
Green thumbs can choose a wide variety of products from the plant and pot sales, or purchase the latest water saving devices.
Garden tools and machinery, fences, gazebos, statutes, outdoor furniture and shade sail are just some of the fantastic items that will be on sale.
The expo will also give people the opportunity to learn some new landscaping tips.
Melissa King, one of Australia’s most popular garden gurus, will be opening the expo on Saturday, at Lardner Park, Warragul.
Martin Farrugia from the Australian Begonia Company will also be at the expo and will talk to gardeners about the mysteries of growing Begonias.
Garden lovers will also get the chance to learn more about saving water when Peter Shepherd-Wilson of Waterwise Systems demonstrates how to maintain a garden during the warm summer months.
Meanwhile, those looking for some home and lifestyle tips need to look no further than the home show.
More than 50 stalls covering all areas of the building trade and home wares will be available.
Interior designers, decorators, finance gurus, builders and tradespeople will also be available to answer any questions.
The garden expo and home show will be a day not to be missed and will even have some exciting children’s activities.
This weekend, packed full of garden tips and home decorating ideas, will run from 9am to 4pm, on Saturday 13, and Sunday 14 October.
Tickets cost $5 for adults and children under 16 are free.
