DISTINGUISHED guests attended a one day dialogue for the Buddhist community in Ferntree Gully recently.
Director at the Institute of Research and Development and Dr Tavivat Puntarigvivat and Assistant Rector, Mr Somlak Hiranburana from the World Buddhist University attended the event at the Ferntree Gully Community Arts Centre and Library on Sunday 8 December.
The event was aimed at expanding the relationship between the World Buddhist University headquarters and associate centres.
The World Buddhist University offers a range of services in numerous countries such as spiritual practice, Buddhist studies and post-graduate training.
Located in Thailand, the university aims to establish World Fellowship of Buddhists.
The Buddhist Discussion Centre runs weekly Buddha Dhamma classes, guided meditation and teaching classes.
