A 21-year-old man has been interviewed following the latest craze of ‘Neck Nomination’ in Eltham on Monday.
Police received a video link via Crimestoppers which depicted a man travelling in the boot of a car before getting out to ‘neck’ a full schooner of beer around 4.30pm.
The Eltham man then got back into the boot of the Nissan sedan which drove off.
Epping Highway Patrol members are investigating and have spoken to the driver and the passenger in relation to the incident.
Senior Constable Scott Cowan said road users need to be reminded of the dangers of such behaviour and consequences if caught.
Police receive information from members of the community of dangerous behaviour posted online and investigate matters where appropriate.
