SIRENS will be whirring and lights flashing as part of the Ridge Top Brigades Family Fun and Information Day this weekend.
Fire trucks will be on display as members from the Olinda, Sassafras – Ferny Creek and Kalorama – Mount Dandenong fire brigades come together to give their communities a chance to meet their local emergency services teams and find out how they work together to keep the area safe.
The event, at the Olinda Hall on Sunday 2 February from 10am to 3pm will be fun for the whole family.
There will be a visit from Captain Koala, food and drinks, a jumping castle and slides, face-painting, balloon animals, colour competitions and much more.
Informative demonstrations will be held throughout the day from 11am.
* In the event of a Total Fire Ban this event will be cancelled.
