Crowd expected for town festival

FABULOUS food, wine and entertainment will feature in this year’s Mt Dandenong Village Festival on Sunday.
The festival aims to raise the profile of the Mt Dandenong village.
Now in its third year, the festival crowd is expected to surpass last year’s attendance of more than 5000 people.
The festival will have something for everyone from street stalls of locally produced food and wine to some great live bands.
Children will be kept entertained by the Pyrobats Circus performers, pony rides, jumping castles and the canine superstars the Alpha Dogs.
Meanwhile, adults can take a stroll through one of the many market stalls sampling local produce and finding some great Christmas gifts.
The festival will start at 9am on Sunday 25 November and will run until 5pm with jazz rock and blues acts providing non-stop entertainment throughout the day.
All money raised from the festival will be donated towards the town’s children’s playground fund.
