Open Hands Holistic Living and Learning College offers meditation classes, holistic counselling, children’s holistic counselling, Reiki and more.
Run by Andrew and Jenni Cook, the college also teaches Diploma in Holistic Counselling and Children’s Holistic Counselling and provides children’s whisperer training and meditation teacher training.
Jenni, a kindergarten teacher, has worked extensively with families for over 26 years, teaching their children and providing family counselling. She found there was a need for specific help and healing, especially for children and adolescents, and embarked on training to fill this need.
“Jenni was finding that she needed further insight into how children function and is now specialising in this and is also teaching teachers how to work more productively with children,” said Andrew.
A shop is also on the premises, complementing the college’s services, selling organic vegetables, organic wine, vitamins and minerals, herbs, essences, breads and health food supplies.
Meditation blankets, pictures, candles, salt crystal lamps and tee-lights, crystals and cloths, shawls and scarves are also available.
The shop is open seven days, so call in for a great range of products or enjoy a cappuccino, herbal tea, hot chocolate and some company.
