Substitutes hold sway

In Round 13 of Saturday Pennant, Monbulk’s Team 1 (Division 2) played away against Glen Waverley.
Monbulk won 4 points (93 shots) to Glen Waverley, 14 points (114 shots).

Team 2 (Division 4) struggled playing away against Keysborough 2. Keysborough won 18 points (132 shots) to Monbulk, 0 points (54 shots).

Team 3 (Division 6) played Upwey Tecoma at home. There were only 3 shots in it, but Upwey-Tecoma won 14 points (95 shots) to Monbulk 4 points (92 shots)
Les Carroll down 14, Peter Francis up 9, Rino Gatto down 2, and Alan Brookes skipping for the first time, up 4.
Rink of the day went to Peter Francis’s team which included Mark Hone and Dawn Bailey, each making their debut in Saturday Pennant.
In Tuesday Pennant, the two Monbulk sides played each other, with Monbulk Maroon defeating Monbulk Yellow by 10 shots.
Doreen Edward (Maroon) side defeated Jenny Holmes (Yellow) 38 to 21.
Jenny Hall (Yellow) defeated Dot Donders (Maroon) 33 to 26.
