CFA sizzles at sale

By MELISSA MEEHAN

NO reasonable offer will be refused.
Mount Evelyn CFA will hold their annual garage sale on Saturday 11 October and with so many things up for grabs, why not head down between 7am and 3pm and make an offer.
CFA First Lieutenant Rick Ventrella said the event was the fire brigades major fund-raiser each year and all money raised would go towards the upkeep of brigade-owned vehicles.
“In previous years, we’ve had up to 1000 people come down on the day,” he said.
“We’ll have a sausage sizzle and fire safety information tent up too.”
The brigade is still accepting donations that they can sell at the garage sale. Contact Ken Reed on 0419 126 426 to arrange drop off.
