The season for mower service

A WIDE range of products and services is provided at the busy Emerald Hire and Trader store in the heart of Emerald.
Current services include hire of machinery and tools to professional trades people and DIY homeowners.
Car parts such as batteries, oils, filters, wipers, spark plugs, bulbs and other general car maintenance items are available.
Repairs and servicing to all types of garden machinery is provided and garden machinery products and accessories are sold including the new range of Morrison garden equipment that includes chainsaws, blowers, hedge trimmers and brushcutters.
Mowers are also sold and serviced with a backup service for products.
“Most garden machinery products sold here have a five year warranty,” said owner Danny Doedens.
“We provide a wide range of services and only supply quality machines such as the hydraulic lift log splitters, designed to save the back.
“We stand by our products, selling the same brands we choose to hire out.”
Between them, the professional staff at Emerald Hire and Trader have small engine and auto mechanical experience as well as landscaping and building experience and are more than capable to give customers sound advice in all these areas.
Danny had this good advice for homeowners.
“If your lawns don’t need to be mown at the moment, it’s a good time to have your lawn mower serviced so that it’s ready for lawn growth after the autumn rains,” he said.
“Lengthy waiting times can be experienced at times because of the influx of sick mowers that come in all at once.”
