KNOX City Council will receive more than $20,000 to help community groups and sporting clubs tackle graffiti.
The $22,400 State Government grant will help the council provide graffiti removal kits for Knox sports clubs and community groups through its Kits for Clubs program.
Councillor Adam Gill said the funding would help clubs introduce measures to prevent graffiti. “Community groups and sports clubs are easy targets for vandals but now we can help them put a stop to graffiti,” he said. Groups and clubs can contact the council’s graffiti management officer on 9298 8000 for more information.
