THE young Brookers played very good football today in the cold wind at Olinda. As expected, they got off to a slow start but still managed a slender lead at first change. The second and third quarters saw the Gembrook boys power away with slick movement out of the centre and they really showed just how good they can be, before finishing off the game well in the last.
Best: S. Hilder, L. O’Brien, C. Moore.
