DANDENONG Ranges residents will soon have another space in which they can show their support for Australia’s veterans. A wartime memorabilia display is set for construction after Dandenong Ranges RSL received $2940 to help commemorate the sacrifice of veterans. Monbulk MP James Merlino was on hand to make the announcement on Friday, 22 May. Mr Merlino said Australia’s servicemen and women deserved what would be a fitting tribute. “The Monbulk electorate has a proud wartime history and it’s important we give our veterans that did us proud the fitting support and tribute they deserve,” he said.
