STUDENTS at Belgrave Heights Christian School enjoyed a special treat on Wednesday, 20 July, with renowned author/artist Graeme Base dropping in to visit. Base is the creator of ‘Animalia’, an incredibly detailed picture book which has sold over three million copies and is about to celebrate its 30th anniversary. During the visit, staff volunteered their time to provide voices for some of the ‘Animalia’ characters, as part of the brand new ‘Animalia’ education suite, with student Spencer Dam fulfilling duties as narrator. Base also attended a whole school assembly, where he presented the school with a limited edition, signed print of the ‘Lazy Lions’.
