Mixed bag as Tigers kick off the season

UPWEY-TECOMA BOWLS
THE 2016-’17 pennant season kicked off on Saturday for Upwey-Tecoma’s three teams and saw some great results for the club.
The Division 3 side had a great win in their new higher division, while the Division 6 side narrowly went down, also playing in their new higher division.
Unfortunately, the Division 1 side lost to a stronger Burwood District side, but will look to bounce back next week at home.
Division 1 Burwood District (1) 84/17 d Upwey-Tecoma (1) 61/1.
Division 3 Upwey-Tecoma (2) 80/15 d Camberwell Central (1) 73/3.
Division 6 Hampton Park (3) 83/14 d Upwey-Tecoma (3) 76/4.
New players and members are always welcome and keep an eye out for the barefoot bowling season, which starts soon.
Go Tigers.
