Monbulk swings into action

MONBULK CRICKET
IT was great to see the sun out (although very windy) this weekend and Monbulk cricketers back on the park.
The club is fielding five senior teams and two Under 16s teams, which is the first time for many years.
Friday night saw the Milo in2cricket registration night (not too late to join), which starts on Friday, 4 November, along with the Under 11s and two Under 10s teams.
Sunday, 24 October, is the ninth annual Monbulk Fun Run, hosted by the Monbulk Cricket Club.
The club would love to see you all enter either the 8km or 4km run or walk.
This is a community/family event and starts and finishes at the Monbulk Cricket Ground at 9am (8am – 8.30am registrations).
This year there will be market stalls, coffee van, Rotary barbecue and a Halloween Special Event (best dressed award).
Funds raised go to Monbulk Rotary Club Community Support Account (for those affected by loss or tragedy) and MADCOW, supporting community projects.
