A CHILD has died following a two-car collision on Belgrave-Gembrook Road, Emerald.
Emergency services responded to the collision that occurred about 3.45pm on Tuesday 22 November.
Victoria Police said it is believed a car travelling west along Belgrave-Gembrook Road has crossed to the other side of the road and collided with an east-bound car.
One passenger of the west-bound car, a young girl, died at the scene.
Two other children received serious injuries and were taken to hospital.
The driver of the car, a woman in her 40s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Ambulance Victoria said the driver of the east-bound car, a woman in her 20s, was in a stable condition.
Belgrave-Gemrbook Road is closed in both directions.
