FRESH tank water is now possible all year round.
In an Australian first, Four Seasons Gutter Protection in Bayswater is now offering homeowners the chance to purchase the newly released Tank Vac.
The Tank Vac is a device sucks out dirt and sludge from the bottom of water tanks, leaving only clean fresh water.
Tank owners will no longer need to empty and manually clean out their tank several times a year, saving hundreds of dollars.
With the Tank Vac a one-off cost of $390 is all it takes.
Four Seasons owner Derek Murphy has been following this invention’s progress for the past three years.
Mr Murphy said it was great to offer people this new way to keep their tank water clean all year round.
A New Zealand study on the Tank Vac has shown the system had dramatically reduced and eradicated e-coli from water tanks.
Mr Murphy said e-coli and water quality where one of the main issues tank owners face because of the dirt that forms at the bottom of tanks.
“We are really pleased to be the first to offer this to the public,” he said.
