Students’ dash to raise cash

Upwey South Primary School students Joel and Emma last Thursday celebrated AFL finals time while raising cash for their school. Students donned their favourite team’s colours and walked laps of the school in the annual Footy Day Walk-a-Thon. Assistant principal Jason Walker hopes donations and sponsorships will top $6000, so the school can purchase an interactive whiteboard. One student recorded 7164 steps on his pedometer. Students relaxed with a hard earned icy pole and special footy day lunch after the event. 22500Upwey South Primary School students Joel and Emma last Thursday celebrated AFL finals time while raising cash for their school.
