Battin ‘all good’ after heart scare

By Derek Schlennstedt

Gembrook MP Brad Battin was rushed to hospital earlier this morning, after suffering from what appears to be ‘cardiac issues’.
Mr Battin reported symptoms of chest pain during a Party Room meeting this morning and was promptly taken to St Vincent’s Hospital about 10.50am.
In a Twitter post made at 12.30pm, Mr Battin said he was “all good” and noted his family has a bad history with heart conditions.
“Little discomfort this morning in chest, bad family history with Dad having open heart at 40,” he said.
“So far, so good.”
Mr Battin said he took the ambulance to hospital based on advice from Member for South West Coast, Roma Britnall.
